 Welcome to the Depew Fire Department’s website. The Depew Fire Department protects just over 16,000 residents within 5 square miles of the Village of Depew. The department consists of four hose companies, one hook and ladder company and one hose/ rescue company. We proudly boast the largest volunteer fire department in the County of Erie and one of the largest in the State of New York, with over one hundred and forty members. We respond to an average of 300 calls of emergencies throughout the year, including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, traffic control, carbon monoxide alarms and many other types of emergencies.
Fellow Firefighter Needs Our Help!!
On Friday December 23rd, 2011 Arthur Leonard, a member of the Cayuga Hose Co #3 of the Depew Fire Department lost almost everything he had in a fire. He even lost his security deposit. The Cayuga Hose is taken donations to help Arthur find a new apartment and to replace the many clothes, furniture, and other items he and his 16 month old son lost in the fire. If your company or someone you know would like to make a donation to help him out please do. Make checks payable to the Cayuga Hose Co #3 and mark "Donation for Arthur Leonard" in the memo line and send to the following address:
