The Depew Fire
Department’s Fire Prevention Committee is responsible for teaching fire safety and prevention to the public.
This group of
firefighters put on many displays and activities at public events, such as the Depew Night Out, various Fire Safety Days,
and they also hand out cider and donuts at the fire stations on Halloween. They also hold tours of the fire station for the
youth and visit area schools teaching fire safety.
The Depew Fire
Department’s Fire Prevention Committee will come to any group, family picnic, or function held within the Village of
Depew to promote fire safety and public relations with the department. The presentation, which lasts for one hour, includes
fire apparatus and firefighting demonstrations. If you are interested in having the Depew Fire Department come to your location,
or if you would like to visit our fire stations, contact the Fire Prevention Committee at the link at the top of this page
or call (716) 684-7565.
